This method produces clean, smooth tastes. Fluid Bed roasters are designed to attain fresh, consistent flavor by roasting to a specific bean temperature rather than color.

Fluid bed roasters force a high velocity of hot air through a bed of beans. The main advantage of fluid bed roasters is that they roast at a lower temperature and the non-heated chamber wall will not scorch or burn the beans.
